In May 2024, Kazakhstan's newest chemical production and research complex opened. BASECHEM LLP opened a new modern chemical plant in Mangistau, using the best available technologies from around the world.

The facility has a production rate capacity exceeding 20,000 tons per year. Production is focused on the domestic market and entering the export market.

BASECHEM LLP started its journey in Kazakhstan with a Research and Development laboratory  which was founded in Almaty 2018  with the goal of knowledge-based production of chemicals and  to develop and patent its own range of chemical products  to solve many issues in various industries such as oil and gas, petrochemicals, industrial water and wastewater treatment, municipal water and sewage systems, mineral processing, steel manufacturing, pulp and paper, and household products.
